To provide a pipe joint for piping which excels in piping workability and has a high sealability.

The joint for piping includes: a metallic joint body 11; and an outer surface covering part 12 covering an outer surface of the metallic joint body 11 with a resin. The outer surface covering part 12 has a pipe insertion part which has a cylindrical shape and in which the inner circumferential surface is tapered. The pipe insertion part has a seal ring 13 which is mounted from an opening end part to the inner circumferential surface. The seal ring 13 has a ring-shaped projection part protruding inside from an inner circumferential part. When a distal end part of a resin coating pipe is inserted into the insertion part while partially peeling a covering layer, a covering end part is butted to the projection part of the seal ring 13.
