To provide a jotting stand which can smoothly be rotated with simple constitution and can securely be stored in a storage position.

The stand is provided with a jotting stand body 2 which is fitted to a chair a and has a top plate 21, a support body 3 which movably rotates and supports the jotting stand body 2 between the use position P and the storage position Q of the jotting stand 1, a hinge part 4 to which the jotting stand body 2 is fitted in a state where it rotates in a direction opposite to the support body 3, and a pressing mechanism 5 adding force in a direction where the rotation of the support body 3 is suppressed and promoted. The pressing mechanism 5 has a dead point in an intermediate position S3 between the use position P3 and the storage position Q3 of the support body 3. Force is added to the support body 3 in a direction where rotation to the storage position Q3 between the use position P3 and the intermediate position S3 of the support body 3 is suppressed, and force is added to the support body 3 in a direction where the rotation to the storage position Q3 between the intermediate position S3 and the storage position Q3 is promoted.
