To cut soybeans into small pieces by a juicer alone and to enable easy preparation of soybean milk and bean curd lees, without cutting the soybeans by a mixer or the like separately.
This juicer has a main body 41 having a built-in motor 42, a vessel 43 placed on the main body 41, a vessel cover 44 covering the upper opening of the vessel 43, a separator basket 46 rotationally driven by the motor 42, a filter 58 fitted in the inner periphery of the separator basket 46 and a funnel-shaped hopper 48 fitted removably to a charging opening 45 of the vessel cover 44. The lower end face of the tube part of the funnel-shaped hopper 48 is made to be substantially flush with the lower end face of the charging opening 45 of the vessel cover 44 that is in proximity to a flat-plate-like cutter 47. Thereby it is possible to cut the soybeans into small pieces and to prepare the soybean milk and bean curd lees by the juicer alone.
