Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a junction box simplified in structure by utilizing a locking means which is not used for the junction box body to be installed vertically or horizontally for obviating play caused in installing the junction box body.
SOLUTION: The junction box 10 is provided with a junction box body 14 and a case 18 housing the junction box body 14 to be installed in vertical or horizontal state. The junction box body 14 is equipped with a 1st locking means 24 which enables the junction box body to mate with a specified inside surface of the case 18 in the state of vertical installation, while enabling the junction box body to be abutted against the other inside surface in the state of horizontal installation, and a 2nd locking means 25 enabling said box body to mate with a specified inside surface of the case 18 in the state of horizontal installation, while enabling it to be abutted against the other inside surface in the state of vertical installation.
