Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a karaoke device which does not stop a performance even though a performance stop button is inadvertently pressed.
SOLUTION: When a performance stop button 5a of a general purpose remote controller 5 is pressed while a karaoke music is being performed, a dialogue indicating 'Do you really wish to terminate this performance?' is displayed on a monitor 3. When the button 5a is pressed again while the dialogue is being displayed, the performance of the karaoke music is actually stopped. However, when an instruction is given to stop a performance from a panel switch of the device main body or an individual remote controller 6 that is used to reserve the music, no dialogue is displayed and the performance is immediately stopped so that degradation in the operability is prevented.
