Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key structure equipped with three-dimensionally arranged indents, which is strong in mechanical strength, and can unlock various locks with respective different codes only by the key structure.
SOLUTION: The key structure is made up of a pinching portion 21, a mandrel 22 integrally formed with the pinching portion 21 and having a number of indents 24 formed in a round bar trunk thereof along the shaft, the indents 24 each having a sector form cross section and being different in central angle and in width from each other, and a driving end 25 arranged at the front end of the mandrel 22 and having a predetermined shape. The mandrel 22 is notched over its entire length along the shaft line with a central angle of 90 degrees, and the sector form indents 24 are varied in phase within the range of 180 degrees while the range of 90 degrees from an edge of the notch being left without the indents, to thereby form a predetermined key code.
