Abstract:
To provide a hygienic kitchen knife holder allowing a user to safely and reliably perform frequent storing and taking-out operations during cooking.SOLUTION: A kitchen knife holder includes magnets disposed in a row in one direction, and the kitchen knife holder suspends a kitchen knife whole body in the air, while magnetically attracting a top of a blunt edge of the kitchen knife, with the long side thereof oriented laterally. A support body supports the kitchen knife holder at a prescribed height position. A separation holding mechanism attached to the kitchen knife holder, separates the top of the blunt edge of the kitchen knife downward from a magnetic attraction surface and holds the kitchen knife in the air. Owing to magnetic attraction hold by the blunt edge of the kitchen knife, a user can temporarily place the kitchen knife and takes it out with a light and easy insertion operation. Further, this configuration can significantly reduce scratches formed by contact of the top of the kitchen knife with the kitchen knife holder when inserting the kitchen knife therein, prevents proliferation of bacteria, etc., and allows the user to hygienically use the kitchen knife.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
