Abstract:
PURPOSE: To precisely detect the knock timing of a body to be knocked by setting a detection condition according to a reference level.
CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with an operation panel 11 provided with an operation key for setting musical sound information, etc., a sensor signal input terminal 12 inputting a signal outputted from a sensor picking up vibration of a drum, a strike detection part 13 for detecting the timing when the drum is struck from the signal and a CPU 17, etc., performing the processing corresponding to the operation of the operation key provided on the operation panel 11 and the processing, etc., controlling a musical sound generation part 15 and generating a musical sound. Then, based on the detection condition set according to the reference level being the level of the signal taken in immediately before or an average level of plural signals fetched at plural points of time successively going back, whether or not the inputted signal this time is the signal showing that the body to be struck is struck is decided. Thus, the signal showing that the body to be struck is struck is detected correctly.
