Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workbench, by which workability at the corner sections of a column, etc., is improved by easily forming the approximately L-shaped workbench while the protruding direction of a protruding section can be changed readily.
SOLUTION: A base frame 2 is formed in a rectangular horizontal cross section, four supports 30 are erected near the four corners of the base frame 2, and sections among each support 30 are connected by horizontal muntins 31 and cross tie materials 4, scaffolding boards 8 are stretched among the horizontal muntins 31 at an uppermost stage, and the lower sections of the cross tie materials 4 are coupled by two bracings 5, 6. Holding fittings 39 are installed to the upper sections of the supports 30 on one short face side of the base frame 2 respectively while a pair of engaging fittings 43 are mounted at two places on the long face side of a protruding section 7, which is formed in an approximately rectangular cross section and in which the scaffolding boards 9 are stretched on a top face, and the engaging fittings 43 at two places of the protruding section 7 are retained selectively to the engaging fittings 39 of the supports 30 and one ends of the long side sections of the protruding section 7 are projected to the side outer than the arbitrary long side sections of the base frame 2, thus constituting an L-shaped workbench 1.
