Abstract:
PURPOSE: To transplant a seedling with soil into a planting device without damaging leaves of the seedling with soil.
CONSTITUTION: A transplanter reciprocates a seedling holding claw 39 between a seedling holding position for taking out a seedling C with soil from a pot part 40 in a seedling tray 41 and a seedling supplying position for dropping the seedling C with soil from above on a planting device 31. When the seedling holding claw 39 is advanced to the seedling holding position, a locus Y of the movement of the tip of the seedling holding claw 39 is shifted so as to scoop leaves in the nursery soil.
