To provide a label continuous body which does not cause distortion or wrinkles on label pieces even though a back split made of a cutting line is provided to a separator so that the label pieces can be easily removed from the separator one by one, and which prevents paper from being torn and prevents the occurrence of printing trouble when printing is performed by a label printer, and to provide the processing method of the label continuous body.

The label continuous body 10 is composed of long belt-like adhesive paper 2 wherein a label base material 5, an adhesive layer 6, and a separator 7 are laminated in this order. On the adhesive paper, half-cut lines are repeatedly formed from the label base material 5 side to the adhesive layer 6 at prescribed intervals, and label wastes 9 around the label piece 4 are removed. On the separator 7, the back split 8 made of the cutting line extending in the longitudinal direction is formed, and the back split 8 is made non-parallel to the longitudinal direction of the label continuous body 10.
