Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013181125
Kind Code:
A

To provide a label coping with resource saving and environmental protection by utilizing biomass materials as a binder resin of printing ink, in place of polylactic acid or a cellulosic material.

In a label having an ink layer comprising an ink composition for label printing by printing on a label base material of a label for mounting on a container, the main component of a binder resin in the ink composition for label printing comprises a mixture of a polyamide resin using biomass materials as the synthetic material and nitrocellulose within a range (mass ratio) of 10/0.1 to 10/10, wherein the percentage of biomass is expressed by formula (1): percentage of biomass (%)=(SWbio/SWtotal)×100. In the formula, SWbio indicates mass of biomass materials contained in a solid content of the ink composition excluding pigment, and SWtotal indicates mass of solid content of the ink composition excluding pigment.
