Abstract:
PURPOSE: To issue a label with workability in application improved.
CONSTITUTION: A product data area in a RAM 30 is a region for storing necessary data about a current product to be label-printed. Position data, font data and input data for each printed column have been registered similarly in a format table in the RAM 30. The position data specifies a printing position in a printing format, and the font data specifies fonts to be printed in the printing format. The input data in the format table specifies from which column of the product data area contents to be printed are taken out. A ROM 40 stores a plurality of kinds of character font data to allow a plurality of fonts to be printed. Thus a label having a POP column including a price, a product name column and a bar code column is issued.
