Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the flow resistance of a refrigerant that flows through the tank parts in a laminate type heat exchanger having three tank parts.
SOLUTION: Of first, second, and third bent parts 101a, 102a, 103a formed respectively on first, second, and third tank parts 141, 142, 143 as spaces for brazing an array of tube elements 110 to them the first bent parts 101a are bent inward toward the tank parts and the second and third bent parts 102a, 103a are bent outward from the tank parts. As a result, compared with like cases in the past, the passageways for refrigerant in the second and third tank parts 142, 143 are enlarged in area and the cooling capacity at the evaporator 6 is improved.
