Title:
LAMINATED NONWOVEN STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07316969
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a laminated nonwoven structure high in peeling strength, excellent in dimensional stability and flexibility, having good dyeability and good water absorbability, further having good bacterium barrier property, and suitable as a raw material for medical treating materials, sanitary materials, clothes, and living-related materials.

CONSTITUTION: A wholly incorporated laminate nonwoven structure is produced by laminating a nonwoven fabric layer composed of ultrafine fibers comprising a thermoplastic aliphatic polyamide polymer to a nonwoven fabric layer comprising mechanically interlaced natural fibers, and has spot-like fused regions in which the ultrafine fibers are fused with the natural fibers. The characteristic of this laminate nonwoven fabric comprises that the natural fibers 2 positioned at least on the boundary surfaces of both the nonwoven fabric layers 1 in the spot-like fused regions are fixed in a state embedded in the fused parts of the ultrafine fibers.
