PURPOSE: To prepare a lightweight, inexpensive and long underlay sheet capable of being wound into a roll-like product and used for spreading the sheet on a baggage-carrying route on movement from a building or a residence.
CONSTITUTION: A sheet-like netty material produced by irregularly bending and crossing many synthetic polymer continuous yarns 1A having a diameter of approximately 0.5-2mm and adhering the crossed parts is used as an interlining 1. Spun-bond nonwoven fabrics 2, 3 are adhered to the two sides of the interlining 1 to produce a flexible underlay sheet 4 having proper stiffness. The underlay sheet can thereby be produced at a low cost, has good pressure resistance, has no seam, and enables the quiet and smooth travel of a carrier.
