To prepare a laminated syndiotactic polystyrene-based oriented film suitable for printing applications such as an offset printing film excellent in ink adhesion, moistening water suitability and antistaticity, and having such high slipperiness as to enable stable paper feed without causing overlap feed in high-speed paper feed operation.
The laminated syndiotactic polystyrene-based oriented film is such one that one side of a film base consisting of a styrene-based polymer having syndiotactic structure is laminated with an easily printable coating layer consisting of a water-dispersible copolymer based on a styrene-based monomer component and an acrylic monomer component with the weight ration of the styrene-based monomer component in the copolymer being 0.15-0.85 and the other side with a highly slippery coating layer containing particles and/or wax.
