PURPOSE: To have no need of plating terminal electrodes of a capacitor and of keeping a desiccant in a bag or the like containing the capacitors, moreover improving a solder covering ratio by coating the surface of the terminal electrodes with solder paste while coating the whole surface of an element with a high molecular organic film.
CONSTITUTION: The surface of terminal electrodes 3 of a ceramic element having structure in which ceramic dielectric layers 5 and inner electrodes are alternately laminated is coated with solder paste 2. The whole surface of the element including the terminal electrodes 3 is coated with a high molecular organic film 1. Thereby, there is no need of plating the terminal electrodes and of putting a desiccant (silica gel or the like) in a bag or the like containing numbers of capacitor elements, while having no deterioration of the terminal electrodes even when it is let alone for a long term and enabling more than 95% of each of the terminal electrode to be coated with solder also at the time of mounting.
