To produce a laminate of higher quality with high yield without requiring complicated operation.
In a method for heating and pressing a laminate containing resin layers bonded and integrated by thermal fusing action from both main surfaces thereof by a pair of pressure members to laminate the same, the heating press member 1 (or 2) among a pair of heating press members 1, 2 is heated to the thermal fusion temp. of a resin in the initial stage of heating press molding and, at this time, the other heating press member 2 (or 1) is controlled to temp. lower than the thermal fusion temp. By this constitution, it is avoided that the resin is immediately melted (excessively heated) in the initial stage of the heating press mold and the adverse effect and trouble to a heating molding surface are reduced and eliminated.
