To provide a lamp device brightening the entire of a light-transmissive cover 35 regardless of disposition of a reflector 34 in the light-transmissive cover 35.
An LED and the reflector 34 housing the LED and having a reflection plane 61 which is opened toward a front surface irradiated with light from the LED are disposed in the light-transmissive cover 35. The light-transmissive cover 35 has a front surface part 63 covering the front surface of the reflector 34 via a gap 66 interposed between it and the front surface of the reflector 34 and a side surface part 64 covering a side surface of the reflector 34. The side surface part 64 has a light take-in part 67 facing the gap 66 between the front surface part 63 and the front surface of the reflector 34. The light from the LED is taken into the side surface part 64 through the light take-in part 67 to brighten the side surface part 64.
