Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reflect a laser beam on a reflection surface and suppress the laser beam from being directly emitted to outside of a lamp unit even if a wavelength conversion member detaches from a preset portion.SOLUTION: A lamp unit 100 of a vehicle lamp comprises: a light-emitting device 10 that includes a semiconductor laser element 12, a wavelength conversion member 14 fixed to a preset portion and absorbing at least a part of a laser beam to convert a wavelength of the laser beam, and a condenser lens 16 collecting the laser beam and irradiating the wavelength conversion member 14 with the laser beam; and a reflection surface 22 reflecting light from the light-emitting device 10. A focal point P of the laser beam collected by the condensation lens 16 is located on the reflection surface 22. At least a part of a region including the focal point P on the reflection surface 22 is covered with a transparent material 28 that is transparent while the laser beam is not collected on the focal point P, and in which a non-transparent portion is generated to absorb the laser beam collected on the focal point P while the laser beam is collected on the focal point P.
