Title:
MALDI MASS SPECTROMETRY APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014212068
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform accurate sample area recognition while eliminating necessity of threshold setting by an analyzer when identifying an area occupied by a sample formed on a plate by image recognition.SOLUTION: After acquiring an image of a well on which a calibration sample is formed (S1), a luminance value histogram of pixels composing the image is created (S2). Measurement points for pre-scan measurement are evenly extracted in units of luminance values on the basis of the histogram (S3), and mass analysis of all the extracted measurement points is performed to collect data (S5 to S8). A total ion amount is found out as a score from data of each measurement point, an average value of the scores is calculated in units of luminance values and the average value is set as an expected value of existence of the sample (S9, S10). A range of luminance values providing expected values exceeding a predetermined allowable value is found out and the range is stored as a luminance threshold (S11). Image recognition of an image on which an optional sample is formed is executed and a sample area is extracted.
