Abstract:

To provide a lane follow-up control device for a vehicle capable of judging driver steering intervention with small steering torque when the vehicle substantially rectilinearly runs with good accuracy without a torque sensor.

This lane follow-up control device for the vehicle is provided with a control unit 10 for outputting a control command for generating steering torque following up the running lane to a motor 6 for automatic steering provided on an automatic steering mechanism 13. In the case where the absolute value ρ of road curvature is the threshold ρth or less and the absolute value Gy of lateral acceleration is the threshold Gyth or more, the driver steering intervention is decided, and steering intervention processing is conducted.
