Abstract:
To provide a laser-arc hybrid welding method which can lengthen the fatigue life of a welded joint twice or more, in the case of hybrid laser arc welding at a welding speed of 100 cm/min or more.
A rolled steel plate for welded construction with a thickness of 6 to 12 mm has a Si content of 0.25% or more by mass and is joined by the laser-arc hybrid welding, using a solid wire having Si content satisfying the following formula: (Si content in steel plate+0.1×Si content in solid wire) ≥0.32.
