Title:
SOLID WIRE FOR WELDING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010228001
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a solid wire capable of ensuring the tensile strength and cold cracking resistance of weld metal even when welding execution conditions are loosened.

A solid wire for welding includes, by mass, 0.02-0.12% C, 0.3-1.0% Si, 1.2-2.0% Mn, 0.05-0.30% Ti, 0.2-2.5% Cu, 0.5-3.5% Ni, in addition, ≤1.0% (not including 0%) Cr and/or 0.5-1.5% Mo, and, moreover, one or more kinds selected from a group consisting of 0.0005-0.020% Mg, ≤0.0020% (not including 0%) Ca and ≤0.05% (not including 0%) Al, with the balance consisting of iron and inevitable impurities. At the same time, it is characterized in that the value of Y represented by equation (1): Y=12×[Cu]+15×[Ti]+80×[Mg]+70×[Ca]+30×[Al] satisfies 5<Y<30.
