Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an adjustment of an optical axis length between a collimating lens and a laser diode by a method wherein a lens fixing tool is fitted into an insertion groove formed in a lens holder main body so as to prevent the collimating lens from being floated.
SOLUTION: While a lens holder 400 provided internally with a collimating lens 4 is moved backward and forward according to a slider 300, an optical axis length between the collimating lens 4 and a laser diode is adjusted in a state that an optical axis adjustment to the X-Y directions of the laser diode is made. At this time, a cylindrical main body 410 of the holder 400 is mounted on a barrel type guide surface 330 of the slider 300 so that the backward and forward sliding operation of the holder 400 is made possible to slide backward and forward of the guide surface 330. The lens 4 is put in a state that the position of the lens 4 is fixed by press-fitting and bonding fixing via a bonding agent so that the lens 4 is not made to float on the holder 400 via a lens fixing tool 500. Thereby, the processability and productivity of a light scanning device can be enhanced.
