Abstract:
To provide a device that can reduce the possibility that burning or dissolving can cause deformation of the surface of a target object even when a laser beam is applied to an object with a small heat capacity or a small heat conductivity.SOLUTION: A laser irradiation device includes: a laser beam source; and a light collecting system for collecting a laser beam emitted from the laser beam source and irradiating a target object with the laser beam. The light collecting system has a structure in which a first collimate element, a first light collecting element, a space filter, a second collimate element, and a second light collecting element are arranged in that order. The space filter is arranged in a light collecting position of the laser beam and has a pin hole with a smaller diameter than the light collecting diameter of a laser beam that has passed through the space filter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
