Abstract:
To suppress deterioration in load training effect by the slip of a wheel.SOLUTION: A walking support robot has a load training mode of applying a load on a walking action of a user by brake force as an action mode. The walking support robot includes: a vehicle body part having a plurality of wheels; a brake part for applying the brake force to the wheels; a drive control part for controlling the brake part; a first acquisition part for acquiring first information being the information related to the movement of the vehicle body part; a second acquisition part for acquiring second information being the information related to the rotation of the wheels; and a slip determination part for determining whether the wheels are slipped based on the first information and the second information in the load training mode. The drive control part reduces the brake force to be applied to the wheels when it is determined that the wheels are slipped in the load training mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
