Abstract:
To enhance the security of a volume hologram by recording the individualized information such as the information of characters, numerals, patterns and biometrics by modifying a volume hologram physically or chemically by the irradiation of a laser light.
The laser marking hologram is constituted so that in the hologram on which interference fringes are recorded on a volume hologram layer 2, an irradiated portion is modified 11 by selectively irradiating a volume hologram layer 2 with the laser light 10 and the information of the characters, the numerals, the patterns and the biometrics having contrast between the irradiated portion and the non-irradiated portion are recorded.
