PURPOSE: To enable output control without requiring auxiliary personnel while observing a working condition with a working device which conducts laser light to an optional position by a transmission means and irradiating said light to a work by using speech input for setting a parameter and controlling the device.
CONSTITUTION: When a power source of a laser working device is turned on, a display part 22 displays the initial set value of parameters such as output, irradiation mode, etc. The operator views the display and speaks "output 20W" to input the same to a speech input part 24 if the display is different from the desired parameter, for example, output 10W and pulse mode are displayed while the desired output is 20W. This apeech is recognized in a speech recognizing part 25 which transmits a signal to a control part 23 to change the display to 20W. The operator, upon confirmation of setting and display of the parameter, speaks "confirm" to input the same to the speech input part. The part 23 feeds a control signal to a laser power source part and oscillation parts 29, 28 to meet the displayed parameter to control said parts to the state in which the laser conforming to the display is ready to be irradiated. The display part 22 displays "irradiation ready"and the operator turns on a switch 27 by confirming such condition to start working.
