Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the flexibility when a group is reconstituted without incurring the increase in the hardware quantity of an equipment in the lattice type network system.
CONSTITUTION: An optical signal outputted from each node 10 is multiplexed by a star coupler 20 in a lateral direction or a star coupler 30 in a longitudinal direction and distributed to each node 10. A wavelength used to send a packet by each node 10 is allocated to each group. The outside of the node 10 is provided with a light source section 40 capable of outputting all lights having a wavelength allocated to each group. The inside of the node 10 is provided with a means selecting one of lights outputted from the light source part 40 and revising the selected light, a means sending a packet by using the light selected by the selection means and a means revising a reception wavelength of the packet.
