To provide a laundry bag which is sufficiently provided with an excess volume for expanding washings during a drying cycle and in which the clothing can be filled only into a specified part.

The laundry bag having an excess volume between raw materials and comprising an open end and a closed end is provided. In addition, a loop and a drawstring are provided on the laundry bag and a sliding device is attached to the drawstring to allow opening and closing of the laundry bag. The laundry bag is hung from a supporting structure by the provided loop and drawstring in a folded manner so as to assure that a proper amount of clothing is placed inside the laundry bag. The open end of the laundry bag is exposed for inserting the clothing therein. Hanging the laundry bag in the folded manner forms a front compartment and a rear compartment. An available washings receiving volume which the front compartment has is about 15-55% of the whole volume of the bag and the clothing can expand to the rear compartment during the drying cycle.
