Abstract:
PURPOSE: To shorten cutting edge grinding working time by providing a locking screw for intruding a pin or the like into a die surface or a striper surface.
CONSTITUTION: In a lead frame metal mold 30, a locking screw 31 for extending and contracting an auxiliary pin is removed in case of punching a lead frame, and the pin is freely extended and contracted to achieve a predetermined guiding operation. When grinding a punch 6 and a die 23, the screw 31 is mounted to intrude the pin into a stripper 5 or a die casing 22. Thus, the time required to grind the punch or the die can be remarkably shortened.
