To provide a lead screw type moving device which is capable of suitably suppressing backlash by preventing the occurrence of a clearance between a lead screw and a nut even if large force is applied and friction occurs with small pressurization force, capable of uniforming the pressurization and preventing the occurrence of the clearance with excellent response even to the degradation of the pressurization force in a short period of time and the occurrence of the clearance, and can be simply, compactly, and inexpensively constituted, and a moving body used for it.
The lead screw type moving device is provided with first/second nuts 6, 8, which are engaged so as to be mutually incapable of rotating in the circumferential direction of the lead screw 2 and capable of moving close/away to/from each other in the axis line direction of the lead screw 2, and a wedge member 18 arranged by being sandwiched between the first/second nuts 6, 8. The first/second nuts 6, 8 are pressed in the direction of separating from each other by energizing force of an energizing part 22 via the wedge member 18. Consequently, the pressurization force is generated between the lead screw 2 and the first/second nuts 6, 8.
