To reduce brightness and color unevenness of light emission more than those of a conventional LED illumination device while retaining a sufficient light amount as an illumination for a decorative illumination in the LED illumination device.

In the LED illumination device 10, an LED light emitting part 1 is covered by the first cover 2 and further its outside is covered by the second cover 3. By this, after the light of the LED light emitting part is dispersed at the first cover 2, it is further dispersed at the second cover 3. As the result, the outer face of the second cover 3 shines with a more uniform and a more even brightness and color than those of the conventional LED illumination device. In that case, preferably the number ratio of the red LED 1bR, the green LED 1bG and the blue LED 1bB is 3:2:3, and the respective inner films 2b and 3b of the first cover 2 and the second cover 3 have opacity of 60 to 70% and whiteness degree of 70 to 90%.
