Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a leg-rowed boat which can increase the force to propel its hull.
CONSTITUTION: This leg-rowed boat has: a hull 1 having a handle 4 and provided with at least two floats 21 on its lower surface; a pedal device 11 provided on the hull 1 and which the occupant operates with both legs; a pair of pulleys 31, 32 provided at the front and rear while being sandwiched between the floats 21 and at least one of which is rotated by the pedal device 11; and a belt 37 stretched over the pair of pulleys 31, 32 and having a number of propulsion foils 39 on its outer surface part.
