Abstract:
To provide a cooling medium lens (water lens) which is protected against breakdown or cracking even if heated to a high temperature, and to provide a lamphouse using the cooling medium lens.
By using the cooling medium for cooling a discharge lamp M, the lens is constructed by a lens cover 61 and the cooling medium (water) 59, to prevent the leakage of the cooling medium due to lens breakdown or the generation of cracks at high temperatures.
