The the lens layout block devices is provided with a device for adhering an elastic seal 3 to a lens holder 2, a device for causing the lens holder 2 to which the elastic seal 3 is adhered to hold the lens 1, a pivotal arm 160, an arm driving device 162 for pivoting the pivotal arm 160, a clamp device 161 attached to the pivotal arm 160 to be vertically movable to hold the lens holder 2, and a clamp driving device 163 for vertically moving the clamp device 161 to turn it according to an angle of an astigmatism axis of the spectacle lens 1. The lens block to the lens holder 2 is performed by turning of the pivotal arm 160.
