Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens molding tool for molding a glass lens having excellent alignment with high accuracy of form.SOLUTION: A lens molding tool for press molding the glass lens includes an optical function part and a lens taper part formed outside of the optical function part in a circumferential direction. Circular faces 55 and 57 which opposes to each other at pressing time are formed in an outer circumference of opposing faces of an upper die 40 and a lower die 50. A concave part 51 is formed in an inner circumference of the circular face 55 of an opposing face of the lower die 50. The concave part 51 includes an optical function forming concave face 52, and a taper face 54 which is formed outside of the optical function forming concave face 52 in a circumferential direction, and which expands toward an apex from a bottom, according to a surface shape of the lens taper part. A1/A0 is 1/3 or less, where A1 is a distance of the opposing faces of the upper die 40 and the lower die 50 at pressing time in the circular faces 55 and 57, and A0 is a distance of the opposing faces of the upper die 40 and the lower die 50 at pressing time in an outer circumference of the optical function forming concave face 52.
