Title:
LENS ATTACHING/DETACHING STRUCTURE OF SPECTACLE FRAME USING TWINNED PAD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013213891
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a lens attaching/detaching structure of a spectacle frame using a twinned pad in which a screw for closing a rim is less susceptible to loosening by an impact and vibration received when wearing or carrying spectacles, or a screw hole is less susceptible to damage when attaching a lens or firmly fastening the screw.

The lens attaching/detaching structure comprises: a front frame 1 in which a substantially intermediate part of the upper/lower of a bridge 12 is laterally cut to allow separation/connection between an upper part 12a and a lower part 12b; a twinned pad 2 in which left/right nose pads 21 and 21 are integrally configured and that has screw insertion holes 23 and 23 at a central connecting part 22; and screw members 3 that pass through the screw insertion holes 23 and 23 of the twinned pad 2 to fix the upper part 12a and the lower part 12b to the bridge 12 of the front frame 1 in the connected state. The twinned pad 2 constitutes the connecting part 22 by covering a core material C with rigidity by a rubber covering material E, and the screw insertion holes 23 and 23 are formed by boring the core material C of the connecting part 22.
