Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lever connector having a small dimension in the direction of the lever pinching a housing.
SOLUTION: A housing body (9) of a lever type connector 1 is left open both in front and in the rear. The front opening admits fitting of another connector as mating party 2, and from the rear opening, a lever 7 is assembled. The lever 7 is assembled rotatably on the inside of a hood part 5 of housing body (9). The lever 7 receives a force in the direction of spread deformation when the two connector members 1 and 2 are fitted, but such deformation is restricted by a deformation restricting part 34 swollen out in a single piece from the hood part 5.
