Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular device having a sealant which is short in waiting time and low in facility cost.
SOLUTION: The vehicular device includes a housing 1 having a seal groove part 10, a lens 2 having a seal leg part 20, a sealant 30, and a chamber 12 defined under a watertight condition. The sealant 30 is composed of a thermoplastic elastomer of the one-liquid hot-melt type. Therefore, the housing 1 can be separated from the lens 2 and a vehicle body panel from the housing 1, and an excellent watertight property is provided. The time required for the sealant 30 to become gelled from its initial liquid state, i.e., the waiting time of the sealant 30, is short.
