To provide a levitation generator that makes it possible to solve the problem that a large-scale, large-sized apparatus, such as linear motor car and hovercraft, used to be required to generate levitation force, and can be reduced in size and applied to a wide variety of applications.

The levitation force generator includes a body 3 of rotation coupled by a supporter 2 at the outer edge of a rotatable disk-shaped linear motor 1, and a disk 4 provided above the body 3 of rotation. The body 3 of rotation and the disk 4 are magnetized so that the upper face of the body 3 of rotation and the lower face of the disk 4 are in the same pole. Thus, levitation force is generated by utilizing repulsive force from magnets.
