Abstract:
PURPOSE: To laminate a lid structure with such a strength as to withstand heat sterilization and make the container unsealabe easily by a method wherein the laminated structure constituted of a seal layer, a metal foil layer and a surface sheet is formed on the flange of a container and the surface sheet is made a flat plate having an attaching part and a tab part defined by the cut parts provided thereon as in the form of curved lines.
CONSTITUTION: In a lid 1 adapted to be heat sealed to a flange 21 formed at the opening part of a container 2, a seal layer 11 consisting of the material heat sealable to the flange 21 under a force of at least 3Kg/m2, a metal foil layer 12 and a rigid surface sheet 15 are laminated in that order and the surface sheet 15 is a flat plate having formed thereon an attaching part 32 having almost the same shape as the container flange 21 and a tab part 31 provided for unsealing purpose, each being defined by the cut parts 3 provided thereon as in the form of curved lines. Since the lid 1 has preformed cut parts 3 and a laminated structure with the other layers 11 and 12, the layer-to-layer adhesive strength is sufficient to permit the heat sterilization thereof and the container can be unsealed easily by pulling up the tab part 31.
