To provide a life behavior confirmation/reporting device which detects the life behavior of an old person who lives alone in order to precisely inform whether the person is well or not, and which is highly convenient as well as easy to use.
This device 1 is equipped with a life behavior censor 2, a detection means 3 and an information means 4. Here, an active life behavior of a resident (for example, an old person who lives alone) in a residence is judged to be normal when by detecting a change in a sensor signal by using the life behavior sensor 2 with a specified time interval and the change in the sensor signal is detected from the same sensor within a specified time. On the other hand, when the change in the sensor signal cannot be detected within the specified time, it is judged that there is not life behavior of the resident, and that an abnormal situation has occurred, and it is reported to a party specified in advance to be reported by way of a communication line.
