Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety rope attaching guide that can pass even if a handrail is curved, an outer diameter of a handrail holding member is larger than specifications, or an interferer is present in the middle of the handrail.SOLUTION: A safety rope attaching guide is slidably inserted in an outer circumference of a handrail 3a. The safety rope attaching guide comprises: a cylindrical body 15; a trumpet-shaped cylindrical part 16 provided at both ends; one or multiple upper rollers 23a, 23b and a right-side roller 22a provided at an upper wall and a right side part of the cylindrical body 15, and rotatably coming in abutment with an upper surface and a right side surface of the handrail 3a, respectively; a safety rope fixture 27 protruded and provided in the right side part of the cylindrical body 15; an attachment member 18 provided in a left side part of the cylindrical body 15; an elongated bracket 17 attached to the attachment member 18 in a freely swinging manner; two front and rear left-side rollers 22b provided at both sides and rotatably coming in abutment with a left side surface of the handrail 3a; and a spring 26 interposed between the attachment member 18 and the bracket 17, and biasing the bracket 17 and the left-side rollers 22b to the handrail 3a side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
