Main and sub luminous fluxes from the output surface are directionally controlled with the light control sheet 41 arranged along the output surface of a light guide plate, and outputted in the desired direction. Main light beam S1 is emitted from a light emitting surface, passing through a first surface 41a (small angle refraction), internally reflected (total reflection) in a first slope region 41b, and outputted from a light output surface 41c (SS1). A first light beam T1 passes through the first surface 41a (small angle refraction), internally reflected with a second slope region 41b (total reflection), and is outputted from the light output surface 41c (TT1). Second sub-light beam T2 is outputted from the light output surface 41c after two times of internal reflection.
