Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emission controller capable of obtaining an apodization effect and capable of performing a stroboscope light emission at optimum timing.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes a light emission control section that controls the light emission timing of a stroboscope used for the imaging apparatus. The imaging apparatus has a function to variably control an aperture diaphragm between the first diaphragm position and a second diaphragm position where the diaphragm is narrowed than the first diaphragm position. The light emission control section controls the stroboscope to emit the light at a first timing within an exposure period when the aperture diaphragm is narrowed to the second diaphragm position.
