Abstract:

To prevent disconnection between an internal lead terminal and an external lead terminal and disconnection of a metal film at a substrate corner.

A light-emitting device (10A) comprises: an LED chip (12); and a ceramic support (14) on which the LED chip (12) is placed. The ceramic support (14) comprises: a placing surface (14d) on which the LED chip (12) is placed; internal terminals (22a, 22b) provided on the placing surface (14d); a rear surface (14c) facing the placing surface (14d); a mounting surface (14b) provided between the placing surface (14d) and the rear surface (14c); and external terminals (28a, 28b) provided on the mounting surface (14b). The internal terminals (22a, 22b) are connected to the external terminals (28a, 28b) via at least one internal via (24a, 24b).
