To provide a light-emitting element array capable of equalizing the amount of a receiving light emitted from a light-emitting element and received by a lens array, even when lenses having the same size cannot be formed by the occupied region of the light-emitting element.
Irradiation-region reducers 6a to 6d are formed so as to coat light emitters 4a to 4d for the light-emitting elements 5a to 5d fitted to a substrate 3 so as to be arranged at equal pitches L1. The irradiation-region reducing characteristics of the end-section irradiation-region reducer 6a fitted to the light emitter 4a arranged at an end are made higher than those of the intermediate-section irradiation-region reducers 6b to 6d fitted to the light emitters 4b to 4d disposed at an intermediate section excepting the end.
